Technical Questions and Answers

Request for Quote 36C25723Q1174

1. Will the existing concrete piers remain in place or will the contractor be required to demo and remove them?

Answer: Yes, existing piers will remain in place.

2. Will the contractor be required to provide power to the lights in the new location or will the structure not have power installed in the new location?

Answer: No, power will be provided by others. Per the SOW, existing lighting equipment and associated materials shall be reinstalled once the structure is reassembled.

3. Will the VA provide a utility map for the new location?

Answer: Yes, although the contractor is still responsible to field verify.

4. A crane will be required for teardown and re-installation. Will the contractor be responsible to repair any damaged concrete/asphalt or damaged underground utilities?

Answer: Yes, damages associated with this project will be the responsibility of the contractor to repair. Clause 52.246-25 will be added to the solicitation.
