About this file
This is a request for quote from the Department of Veterans Affairs for a 500kw emergency standby generator. The solicitation is set aside for service-disabled veteran owned small businesses and requires offerors to be verified in the Vendor Information Pages database. Interested firms must submit pricing and technical quotes directly to the contracting officer by August 12, 2022. The award will be made to the responsible offeror whose quote is most advantageous based on technical acceptability of the generator and past performance. Price will be a factor but is less important than technical features and performance history. The generator must meet specifications for emissions controls, engine components, controls, and other features as described in detail.
