| Yes, it can be done. However, we keep all our tanks at least 60% full always. |

1.1 General Scope – Part 1
| The solicitation mentions a tank capacity of 6,000 gallons of unleaded fuel, and 168,000 gallons of diesel fuel. This contradicts other aspects of the solicitation and our on-site observations. Can you please clarify? |

This service is not required on above ground tank.

Hours of Work – Part 7 From Solicitation:
“All parts, filters, or items needed to maintain underground and aboveground storage tanks operations are included in this contract”
This statement implies that the contractor will be responsible for any and all materials that are required for the fuel supply and storage system at this facility. This would potentially include all parts necessary for a complete rebuild.
If this is the intention of the VA, the cost for contingency will significant increase on this project. Please confirm that this is the VA’s intention?
The contractor is responsible for all parts and supplies not to exceed 10,000.00. parts and supplies exceeding $10,000.00 dollars will be paid for by the VAMC.

B Unscheduled Maintenance – Parts 2 & 3 From Solicitation:
“2) All parts and labor, to include tools needed for work, shall be provided by the contractor and covered under the contract. Any parts removed due to replacement under the contract shall become the property of the contractor.
3) Contractor shall maintain a full spare parts inventory for repairs and service that could be needed for the unit being maintained.”
These statements imply that the contractor will be responsible for any and all materials that are required for the fuel supply and storage system at this facility. This would potentially include all parts necessary for a complete rebuild.

The filtration system is part of the fuel system. The filters change will be per Manufactory recommendation. A differential of pressure 25 psi or one year.
