Project Title: Mobile Sterile Processing Services Unit
1) PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Eastern Kansas Health Care System is seeking to lease a Mobile Surgical Processing Services Unit (MSPSU) The facility’s Sterile Processing Services (SPS) will be closed for approximately 10 months for a HVAC renovation project. The use of an MSPSU will allow the facility to continue to perform decontamination, manual cleaning, and sterilization procedures during the renovation project. The MSPSU will be located on the West side of the main hospital at the Leavenworth facility. The unit will be needed approximately beginning May 1st 2021.
2) STATEMENT OF WORK
MSPSU:
The selected vendor will deliver, set-up and certify a fully enclosed functioning Mobile Sterile Processing Services unit that includes:
1. 3 Bay Decontamination Sink with Acu-sinQ™ Enzymatic Dosing System
1. Two Vision Washers – Electric – Approximately 24 sets per hour.
1. Caviwave Pro with DaVinci capabilities
1. Pass Thru Window
1. Four Prep and Pack Tables
1. Two Steam Sterilizers – Approximately 18 – 20 total sets per hour capacity
1. V-Pro Max VHP Low Temp Sterilizer
1. RO/DI Water System (for final rinse on washers)
1. Two Steam Generators
1. ProConnect™ Response Center
1. Hand wash sink with eye wash
1. Water treatment system
1. Sterile room HVAC system
1. Decontamination room
1. Emergency Exit stairs and platform
Power:
The selected vendor shall be responsible for providing an MSPSU that includes:
• Electrical Service: 480VAC, 3‐phase, (2) 250 AMP
• Configuration: 4 wire (L1, L2, L3, G)
• Frequency: 60hz
• Shoreline Cable: (2) cables will be provided; facility end hard wired 100’ if possible.
• Disconnects must be within 50’ of the front/nose of the unit Request this be 100’ if possible.
• Earth ground provided; installation per NEC Article 250
• (1) single point female bayonet type located directly under the roadside power connection
• (1) 20’ ground cable with (2) clamps The facility will provide:
Electrical Service: 208/240VAC, 2 pole, total of 70/80 amps 1‐Phase Service disconnection and termination of shoreline and ground cables to facility Power for cold weather package Power for piping heat tape Emergency power Termination wiring from emergency power source to MSPSU connection Appropriate cable covers and fencing
Cold Weather Package:
The selected vendor will provide:

Plumbing:
| 4‐inch wastewater connection |

• Minimum 40 psi dynamic at SPD
The facility will provide:
| Potable cold water, minimum 25 GPM at 40-50 psi (dynamic) |
| External piping from facility to MSPSU |
| Insulation and heat tape to external pipe from facility to MSPSU connection |
| Dedicated circuit for pipe heat tape |
| Termination of heat tape to facility panel |
| External drain piping from facility to MSPSU |
Water Testing:
The selected vendor will provide water testing services and a monthly report showing compliance with AAMI guidelines and standard TIR34.
Fire Alarm and Sprinkler System:
Conventional analog fire alarm system with local audible visual, horn‐strobe alarm devices for occupant warning.

The selected vendor will supply:
• two unmanaged IT switches:
• 1 switch dedicated to trailer equipment
• 1 switch dedicated to Customer equipment The facility will provide:

Heating and cooling system:
The selected vendor will supply:
Nominal ¾” pipe(s) at front and rear of unit The facility will provide:
Connection and routing of ¾” condensate drains
Unit Anchoring:
The selected vendor will provide:
8) at 5,000 lb. tensile capacity (2 each per corner). (For wind rating. If in Seismic zone it is 10,000 LB. tensile capacity).
Strapping and hardware attaching each trailer tie down ring to its corresponding ground anchor point
The facility will provide:
Anchor points to be located on the ground at 30‐45 degrees from the unit tiedown points
Education:
Provide in-service education and support for facility staff on use of all trailer/equipment
3. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

· Capabilities of your system that are not listed above
· Floorplans, schematics and technical information
· All necessary unscheduled and preventative maintenance of equipment, per OEM standard, that is included with the unit
