The purpose of the amendment is to post who attended the site visit, to answer questions, and to extend the bid open date and time.

The bid opening is changed to 16 June 2020, 10:00 AM EST at the location shown in block 7.

SEE FOLLOWING PAGES FOR FURTHER INFORMATION.

Q1. Typically for bids at VA Cincinnati the controls work is to be completed by Johnson Controls or Emcor Services Automated Controls. For this project only JCI is listed. Is this correct?

A1. The current OR AHU is currently on JCI. Also, JCI currently controls the humidity and re-heats to the OR ducts and these have to act in concert with the new air valves. As a result, it is best if this system continue to connect to the JCI system. The specifications should state that the contractor shall tie into the existing JCI system.

The following were in attendance to the site visit held on 19 May 2020.
