PRESOLICITATION NOTICE FOR PATIENT GARAGE ROLLING GRILLE REPLACEMENT
THIS PROJECT IS SET ASIDE FOR SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES (SDVOSB) ONLY The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 10 has a requirement for Patient Garage Rolling Grille Replacement, located at the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center, 10701 East Blvd, Cleveland, OH 44106.
The SDVOSB contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, equipment, materials, coordination and supervision to complete all work to include, but not limited to, the following:
General construction, demolition, mechanical, and electrical work.
The SDVOSB contractor shall adhere to all contractual requirements, to include: contract drawings and specifications; as well as Federal, State, and Local requirements.
The solicitation will be 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The SDVOSB must be a General Contractor company with an approved NAICS Code of 238290, Size Standard $15 million. A bid guarantee and/or performance bond is not projected to be required for this project, however- an alternate payment protection will be required in accordance with FAR 28.102-1(b)(1). The magnitude of construction cost for this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00 with a completion period of 90 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed.
NOTICE TO PRIME (GENERAL) CONTRACTORS: Prior to and at the time of award the SDVOSB must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM and be registered/certified as a SDVOSB firm on the VetBiz Vendor Information Pages at http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov .
SOLICITATION and AMENDMENTS: Prospective Offerors must obtain copies of solicitation documents from FedBizOpps, by registering at FedBizOpps (http://www.fedbizopps.gov) the Offerors will have access to downloading plans, specifications and amendments, which will be available only in Adobe PDF electronic format. The Offerors must be registered in SAM and have a DUNS Number to download documents. By signing up for the “Register to Receive Notification list” at http://www.fedbizopps.gov, you will be notified by email of any new amendments that have been issued and posted. No other notification of amendments will be provided. Potential Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining and acknowledging any amendments to the solicitation.
A Pre-Proposal conference will be held. Information regarding the site visit will be contained in the forthcoming solicitation, in the event one is issued.
The proposals will be evaluated and award made utilizing FAR Part 13.
