Text version

1. Can we service much of the facility from the ground, we are concerned that your safety team may not allow us from doing so?

The Government does not care how the work is accomplished. The work must be accomplished satisfactorily and in accordance with the PWS.

2. Much of the difficult areas have to be accessed by rope descent so we have to make sure the roof anchors have been certified recently. Has the VA had the roof anchors OSHA Certified and on file?

All tie-offs are certified to be within the OSHA Standards.

3. If the OSHA Certification has been done, will we have access to the certification?

I do not know if there is enough time to get the certifications. I will try and will post the Certs to Contracting Opportunities.

The contractor will bear the cost of their background checks and the Government will conduct a background check if required.

9. As it relates to parking, the solicitation says the contractor is responsible for their own parking? How does that work if they are working on-site. Do you know if there is designated parking for them?

Parking is on a first come first served basis, contractors will not receive assigned parking.
