Questions and Answers for Solicitation #36C24820Q0310
1. Does he need to be there to meet the truck as the items are being unloaded and arriving? Or can it be the day of (he lives 2 hours from Tampa, so he wants to make sure that he is there as needed), like get a call from the driver that he is X amount of time from the warehouse and the installer can make his way to the warehouse and arrive shortly after the truck arrives.
VA response: No one must be here to unload the truck. Depending on how they are delivered, the warehouse will generally receive them in and bring them down by my office in the crates or on the pallet until install. They will stay crated or palleted until vendor arrives.
1. IF they need him to be there to meet the truck, he is open to offering space in his warehouse in Orlando, this would guarantee that he could be there at time of delivery. However, this would mean that it would go from Orlando to the facility, not their warehouse to the facility.
VA response: No one must be here to unload the truck. Depending on how they are delivered, the warehouse will generally receive them in and bring them down by my office in the crates or on the pallet until install. They will stay crated or palleted until vendor arrives.
1. Do the cabinet(s) need to be “New”? Please let me know at your earliest.
