About this file

This document contains an amendment to a solicitation for switchboard operator services. The amendment provides answers to vendor questions about staffing levels, call volumes, abandonment rates, and operational details for the incumbent contract. It specifies that the solicitation seeks to continue providing switchboard operator services for the Birmingham Veterans Affairs Medical Center, with a monthly call volume of over 50,000 calls and abandonment rate below 5%. Historical monthly call volumes for 2020 are provided, ranging from 45,000 to 65,000 calls. The amendment does not change the response deadline of January 15, 2021 at 3:00 PM CST or indicate changes to pricing terms.
