The contract base is anticipated to start March 1, 2018 through September 30, 2018 – 7 months.

Question#2:

The invoicing sections indicates “payment will be made upon receipt of a properly prepared invoiced validated by the COR” Can you clarify the approximate payment terms, net 5, net 1, etc. This will help us provide the best available price and/or payment discounts.

Answer:

The payment terms are NET 30.

Question#3:

Is this a new contract or is there a vendor currently supporting? If so, can you share the current billable rate by the contractor?

Answer:

This is a new contract and yes there is a vendor currently providing services.

We cannot give any pricing or billable rate of the current vendor. You may go through the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA) process if you need additional information regarding the current Sterile Processing contract.

If you have a FOIA request that relates to the Department of Veterans Affairs — Office of Acquisition and Logistics — Procurement Policy and Warrant Management Services, please submit your requests to our FOIA electronic mailbox.

Please read all applicable sections including but not limited to; “How to Submit a Request”, “Fee Information”, and “How to appeal a FOIA request”. FOIA information as it relates to the VA is also contained in a downloadable Requesters Reference Guide

Question:

Regarding solicitation 36C24718Q0194 Sterile Processing Technicians, the quote identifies resumes as part of the technical requirement. The Management and Delivery criteria requires the names of the “Lead” and alternate be identified. Does the VA require resumes for all 16 candidates, or is the resume requirement for the “Lead” and alternate only? Thank you.

Answer:

We do not need lead techs.

Next, we do not need all the 16 techs, we mentioned that the vendor should be able to provide up to16 techs.

The vendor should consider retaining the current contract workers In the event a contractor other than the incumbent is selected, the awardee shall give first opportunity to fill available positions to the personnel currently performing under the former contract. This precautionary measure is to ensure the personnel already in place will have the opportunity to support the contract while the awardee prepares to provide this service and ensure continuity of staffing services to the Atlanta VA Medical Center, without interruption.
