SPS Water Testing Questions and Answers

1. Table 8 requires Bacteria and LAL tests as needed. Section 6, emergency testing states: "Contractor shall also provide twelve (12) additional tests per Table 8, per year." The price schedule shows the 12 "as needed" LAL tests as CLIN 0009. However, there is no line item for the 12 "as needed" bacteria tests. Should a CLIN be added for the 12 bacteria tests? For the Base Year only, there will not be extra bacteria tests as testing is occurring weekly at 3 of the sites. For Option Years 1 -4 there are Emergency Bacteria CLINS, 12 each.

2. Please confirm that pH, resistivity, and temperature will all be conducted in the field using hand-held instruments and color and turbidity will be noted by visual observation, so no laboratory analysis for these parameters is required. This is correct per the tables listed in the Performance Work Statement.
