Crescenz Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Philadelphia, PA requires a design build project. This Design Build project consists of the Professional Design for the development of construction documents and Construction Services for the replacement of the kitchen floor including the dishwasher. The dishwasher will have to be replaced with a rental for the duration of the floor replacement phase of this project. Provide labor and material necessary to upgrade floor Building #2 main Kitchen located on ground floor. The magnitude of this VA construction project is estimated to be between $250,000 and $500,000. Period of Performance will be approximately 150 calendar days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. All work on this project must be accomplished between 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Friday and water shut downs 8:00 PM to midnight and weekends. (Phase I); after the kitchen closes, 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM (Phase II); after the kitchen closes, 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM (Phase III-IV); after the kitchen closes, 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM Phase (V) and after the kitchen closes, 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM (Phase VI). Set-Aside Information: This solicitation is to be issued as a 100% service-disabled veteran small business set aside (SDVOSB). The firm must be small business under relevant North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) code and they must be registered and current in the following websites: www.sam.gov and www.vetbiz.gov . Offerors must ensure registrations in these websites are not expired and are correct, current and valid. The NAICS code for this project is 236220 – Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, and the small business size standard is $36.5 Million. A pre-proposal conference and site visit will be held within two weeks after issuance of the solicitation. The exact date/time/location of the conference will be specified in the solicitation. The solicitation documents will be posted at the Federal Business Opportunities website (http://www.fbo.gov) on or about November 7, 2018. Questions should be addressed to Cheryl A.
