DESCRIPTION
The purpose of this amendment is to provide answers to questions asked by vendors for solicitation number 36C24222Q0103. See questions/answers below:
1. What type of oil is transformer T-3 Main and LTC tanks filled with and what is Transformer T-2’s LTC filled with?
2. Is this a manufacturer approved solution/recommendation for this transformer?
a. Please replace with the manufacturer’s recommended oil, pleas replace the tap changer oil with the manufacturer’s recommended oil. There is a pressure equalizing effect between the transformer and the tap changer. As a side note, all modern transformers use a stable silicon based or fluorinated hydrocarbon or combustion-resistant vegetable oil-based dielectric fluids or synthetic esters. Older transformers used insulating mineral oils.
All other terms and conditions remain the same.
