About this file
This document contains questions and answers related to solicitation number 36C24124Q0073 from the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 1 for replacing a ground water valve at Building 2. The questions seek clarification on details of the valve being replaced including whether other valves can be isolated, the flange measurements, piping material, who will perform shutoff work, and whether drain valves exist. Responses indicate most risers can be isolated, the valve size is unknown and must be measured, piping material is copper, only site staff can operate valves, and no drain valves exist on the main piping. Non-flanged ball or gate valves with solder connections would not be accepted as a replacement for the valve detailed in the statement of work.

Unknown, the valve will need to be measured.
