Industry Questions:

1. How will the vehicles be tagged?

· The Government will procure District of Columbia tags for the vehicles.

2. The Government requests P275/55R20 tires, but the standard size for this model is P265/65/R18. Is the Government requesting a tire upgrade?

· The Government requires P275/55R20 tires

3. Is this a recompete of a similar contract? If so, what is the contract number?

· GS-30F-0008L VA119A-14-F-0283

4. Is this Veterans Affairs Solicitation in accordance with the Veterans First Contracting Act?

· This requirement is being solicited in accordance with the Veterans First Contracting Program.

5. The period of performance is issued for a Base plus 4 Options. Does VA have the authority for a Multi-Year Lease term of 5 years (a 60 month firm-fixed price)?

· The Period of Performance is a 12-month base period with four 12-months option periods.

6. Under Section 9.2, would VA instead accept an OEM extended warranty and scheduled maintenance plan included in the monthly lease payments?

· The Government will not accept a scheduled maintenance plan or extended warranty.

9.0 MAINTENANCE:

9.1 Scheduled Maintenance

9.1.1 The Government shall provide all scheduled, maintenance on all vehicles leased under this contract.

9.1.2 The Government shall provide all unscheduled repairs that are not covered by the vehicles warranty.

9.1.3 The Contractor shall submit a written preventative maintenance inspection schedule, in English, prior to the commencement of work. The schedule shall be in accordance with (IAW) manufacturer’s mileage intervals.

9.1.4 The Government shall replace consumed oils, parts, and components identified in the periodical inspection. This includes, but is not limited to, tires, batteries, oil, fuel, breaks, bulbs and windshield wipers.
