About this file
This document is a Scope of Work for a renovation project located at 3265 Sixth Avenue in Troy, NY, focused on masonry and window restoration work. The scope includes detailed specifications for two primary work categories: Masonry and Windows, with instructions to bid on each item separately. The masonry work involves re-pointing the bottom 2 feet of the entire facade (approximately 30 sq. ft.), re-pointing underneath second-floor sills (approximately 42 sq. ft.), and caulking the south facade vertical joint (approximately 18 linear feet).
The window restoration work is divided into two sections (Windows A and B), targeting the second-floor facade windows. Windows A addresses 10 broken annealed glass panes, involving removal of old glazing, frame preparation and painting, and installation of new 1/4" laminated safety glass with silicone glazing. Windows B focuses on 68 non-broken panes, requiring new 1/4" laminated safety glass installation and interior silicone glazing. The document provides specific spaces for contractors to enter their bid amounts for each category, indicating this is a competitive bidding process for a targeted building restoration project.
