Hardcopies of production specifications and technical drawings, complete shortage list, manufacturing instructions, acceptance test procedures and data, purchase order documents and associated certificates of conformance from suppliers or appropriate documents indicating compliance with material or drawing requirements in accordance with CDRL A005.

The audits will be conducted at the Contractor or subcontractor facility by NSWC Dahlgren Division or other Government designated representatives.

Each audit will be performed after assembly completion (including acceptance testing) and prior to DD 250 Acceptance. For planning purposes, each complete PCA will require approximately two weeks for pre-audit preparations, three weeks for audit conduct and three weeks for post audit close-out efforts.

Following the conduct of the PCA, the contractor shall generate the necessary documentation to resolve all audit findings and provide these to the Navy audit team within the time frame specified by the Navy PCA lead in accordance with CDRL A006. This documentation shall be evaluated by the PCA team to assess the corrective action taken to close the audit finding. This necessary documentation may include but not be limited to, revised manufacturing processes, engineering change proposals, Notice of Revisions, Specification Change Notice and revised TDP drawings.
