The Academy wardroom and All Hands dining facility, located in Chase Hall, is the dining facility that feeds all of the cadets and staff. The dining facility serves approximately 3400 meals per day and cleaning over 10,000 dishes plus cups and utensils. The current dish machine is a FT900 from Hobart that was install in 2008 during a time the number of cadets in attendance was approximately 930. Within the past two years has experienced a number of system failures and part replacements. Due to the nature of use and the expense incurred when the system goes down, in purchasing disposable utensils and the service cost for additional repairs and maintenance man power, and recommendation from previous Hobart service representatives, a new model machine with increased capabilities would be a better investment than continual repairs to the ailing system.
The unit was originally installed during a time when the Academy student body was expected to maintain its numbers or decrease. Instead, the Academy took on initiatives to increase the student body and has since increased its student core,Officer Candidate Students, and personnel by approximately 20%. With that came additional food service needs and additional wear and tear on the current ailing dish machine. With the continuing increase in food service demand, the Academy is in need of a unit capable to keeping up and exceeding the current level of need in hopes to over perform and with the demand of the food service operation.

Current Ventilation, Plumbing and Electrical needs to be modified to fit new unit which may include changes to the local HVAC ducts to line up with the newer unit, additional piping to connect water and drains, or installing a new breaker or electrical box.
Contractor shall be responsible for sourcing licensed trade workers to schedule a walkthrough at The Academy in order to inspect and then quote for the Electrical, Plumbing, and ventilation modifications needed in order to set up the new dish machine per specifications.
