About this file
This document contains a market survey questionnaire and related federal contract opportunity notice. The Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime is seeking information from potential suppliers on barrels for carbines to support an anticipated solicitation. The market survey requests details on company size and manufacturing capabilities. It also inquires whether the carbine barrels can be considered commercial items per the FAR and requests documentation to support any claims of commerciality. Additional questions address delivery timeframes, pricing breaks, and any other relevant information. The related opportunity notice provides the solicitation number, National Stock Number, and approved source for the carbine barrels. It instructs interested parties to submit source qualification packages through the DLA Land and Maritime Alternate Offer/Source Approval Request program if seeking approval as an alternate supplier. Responses to the market survey are due within five business days.
