2025-10 Map 1.pdf

This is a Parks and Greenways Existing Conditions map created by the Green Bay Parks, Recreation, and Forestry Department, covering the city of Green Bay and surrounding municipalities including the Towns of Hobart, Scott, and Bellevue, and Villages of Howard, Ashwaubenon, and Allouez. The map details the current landscape of existing parks, schools, and greenways using color-coded markers (turquoise for schools, light green for parks, and dark green for county, school, or tribal owned properties). The document provides a comprehensive geographic overview of public spaces, showing their distribution across the municipal area, with blue lines indicating what appear to be water boundaries or waterways.

The map serves as a strategic planning document that inventories current public land assets, which could potentially be used for future infrastructure, recreation, or community development projects. It includes locations of numerous schools and parks spread throughout the Green Bay metropolitan area, with notable concentrations near the University of Green Bay campus and along water features. The map's legend and scale (1" = 4,000') suggest it is a precise, official document intended for municipal planning, potential land use assessments, or parks and recreation strategic development. The detailed nature of the map indicates a systematic approach to cataloging and visualizing public space resources within the jurisdiction.
