Questions and Response to RFQ 2016-Q-66019

Question 1. Is there a previous contract for this equipment? If so, can you provide the contract number?

Response 1: There is no prior contract. This will be the first time we have performed this particular maintenance on the equipment.

Question 2. Who is the vendor currently servicing the equipment?

Response 2: There is no dedicated vendor that services our switchgears. It’s bidded out on annual basis.

Question 3. What was the cost of the last year's contract and is this the same equipment as last year's contract?

Response 3: Same as #1.

Question 4. Is the contract available for viewing?

Response 4: Same as #1.

Question 5. Is there a service history available?

Response 5: Same as #1

Question 6. Is all the equipment up and running?

Response 6: All the equipment is in service.

Question 7. Can you tell me if the quotation submittal is by hard copy only or will electronic files be accepted?

Response 7: Yes, you can submit your proposal response via electronic format.

However, the announcement should have stated that facsimile responses are not acceptable.

Question 8. Is this a follow-on requirement? If so, could you please provide the incumbent contract number for this opportunity? If not, is this a new requirement?

Response 8: No, this is not a follow-on. There services were performed back in 2011.

Therefore, this is a new requirement.
