Questions and Responses: 02/22/2019

1. VENDOR QUESTION

The past performance questionnaire for this solicitation has a fill-in for ‘Contract Number’. Do we place the solicitation number 20111006 in this fill-in? Or do we place the reference to other contracts we have supported?

GOVERNMENT RESPONSE

Please reference the contract number from the other contracts you have performed.

2. VENDOR QUESTION

Do we need a current SAM registration prior to the bid due date of 2/25/19? Or only before bid is awarded?

GOVERNMENT RESPONSE

Vendors are required to be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to receive an award.

3. VENDOR QUESTION

Do not see anything about the Prevailing Wage rate – is that a requirement?

GOVERNMENT RESPONSE

There is no prevailing wage that has been identified for this requirement. This is for a semi-annual service.

4. VENDOR QUESTION

Pricing is for maintenance work; not any battery or other parts replacements (unless under warrantee), correct?

GOVERNMENT RESPONSE

Correct. If AMOC has a bad battery that needs replacing then the Government will purchase the battery. However, per the Statement of Work (SOW) “In the event a battery under warranty needs to be replaced, the contractor shall perform all functions necessary to communicate with the manufacturer, remove and exchange the old battery, and install a new battery.” The battery would be provided by the Government.

5. VENDOR QUESTION

Can an extension be given until 2/27/2019?

GOVERNMENT RESPONSE

No extensions will be given at this time.
