20‐0021 Runway Rubber Removal and Airfield Markings ‐ Technical Factors (12‐13‐19)
A. AIRFIELD PAVEMENT REPAIRS
The Contractor shall provide a detailed course of action and work plan for the following future work scenarios, which is in line with the scope of work that may be required under this contract:
A1. Contractor shall provide a detailed course of action and work plan describing the following hypothetical event: Provide rubber removal and airfield markings as shown in the attached seed project drawings. The work plan shall follow all the requirements specified in the contract specifications and drawings, coordination for runway closure, phasing plan, material submittals, and testing; it shall include a list of all equipment proposed to be used to accomplish all required tasks and the contract line items numbers (CLINs) and quantities that apply for each per the scope of work. Contractor shall include references to the contract specifications and drawings. Ensure schedule complies with runway working conditions. Performance period for this work is 180 days. Runway closures are limited to weekends when aircrafts operations are minimal and only prior coordination with the airfield manager.
A2. Past performance requirements:
The prime contractor and/or its sub‐contractor shall have successfully completed a minimum of 2 projects within the past 3 years having similar scope of work per this contract and particularly have successfully removed and painted a minimum total of 200,000 square feet of pavement markings on an active airfield within a five day period; three of those days may be under a fully operational airfield environment in combination with weekend days of minimum operational airfield environment.
Contractor shall submit points of contact of previous contracts to verify project information.
