Laser Machining Equipment

• Laser fully assembled and installed, including exclusion zones/minimum clearances and excluding support equipment, cannot exceed 160” wide x 220” long x 100” height

• Equipment must operate on existing electrical circuits in facility o Laser machine: 380V, 3PH, 60HZ, 50A o Blower/Vacuum Bed/Fume evacuation (support equipment): 1900 cfm, 208-230V, 3PH, 60HZ, 15A, 5HP. Contractor will be required to provide specific duct size in order for government to complete assembly of fume evacuation system o Chiller (support equipment): 90,000 BTU/Hr, Air Cooled, 20 GPM, 50 PSI, 460- 480V, 3PH, 60HZ, 25A, Corrosion Inhibitor Optishield Plus: 5 Gallons

• Laser machine must have the following minimum o 1000W average power and 2.5KW peak power sealed CO2 laser o Full flying optics system o Vacuum hold down bed and machine interlocked fume extraction o Working range of 50” X and Y axis, and 9” Z axis o 1500 in/min cutting speed o Positioning accuracy of 0.001” o Repeatability accuracy of 0.0002” o Ability to etch and cut metal, plastics, wood, composites, fabrics, rubbers o Must be able to cut 0.125” thick aluminum sheet metal o Interfacing that supports DXF, AI, DWG, JPG, TIF, file import o Palletized loading with front and rear pass through o 50" x 50" Universal Pallet Assy, metal points/slats o Enclosure with appropriate laser safety rating and safety interlocks on all covers and enclosure to protect machine and operators o Auto focusing system with height sensor for metal materials, automatically adjusting during cut for correct distance (this allows use of warped/imperfect material) o Metal points/slats cutting table

• Must include freight, on-site installation and startup of equipment

• Must include minimum 3 days of on-site training on equipment interface, operation and maintenance for at least 2 personnel (The government is not responsible for contractor lodging or travel).

• If Laser machine, excluding peripheral components, exceeds 3,000 pounds then rigging must be included
