Statement of Work (SOW)
Description: Procure and install a 1kW CNC Laser and Support Equipment Unit of Issue: Each Quantity: 1 (one) Location: 7369 North Fighter Country Avenue, Building 415, Luke AFB, AZ 85309
1.0 Scope of Work.
1.1 Contractor will furnish and install: one 1kW CNC Laser; Sealed CO2 laser tube with 1000 watt average and 2.5 Kilowatt peak power (capable of cutting plastics, wood and metals); Full flying optics system; Vacuum hold down bed and machine interlocked fume extraction; Class I laser safety enclosure with gull wing door access; Palletized loading with front and rear pass through; Capable of grey scale raster engraving and 3D "carving" of wood; Capable of raster marking and cutting .125" anodized aluminum control panel in one setup; Z-axis clearance a minimum of 9"; Optional cutting substrates include metal points and honeycomb.
1.2 Contractor will furnish and install: one 50" x 50" Universal Pallet Assy, metal points/slats.
1.3 Contractor will furnish and install: one Chiller; 90:000 BTU/Hr; Air Cooled; 20 GPM; 50 PSI; 460V/60Hz/3PH.
1.4 Contractor will furnish and install: Corrosion Inhibitor; Optishield Plus; 5 Gallons.
1.5 Contractor will furnish and install: one Blower; Heavy Duty; 1900cfm; 8"Dia Inlet;
230/460VAC; 5HP Enclosed Motor.
1.6 Contractor will furnish and install: one IUID tag plate per MIL-STD-130x.
1.7 Contractor will provide: Installation/Startup of Laser and Support Equipment; 3
Days of on-site training, 2 person.
2.0 Period of Performance. The period of performance shall not exceed 30 days. Start date to be coordinated with the customer. Work to be performed during regular duty hours M – F.
3.0 Place of Performance. The place of performance is 7369 North Fighter Country Avenue, Building 415, Luke AFB, AZ 85309.
4.0 Security Requirements. The contractor shall adhere to current installation security policies.
5.0 Government Furnished Property (GFP) and Services. The US Government will not provide any equipment, fuel, personnel, utilities or facilities to the contractor for the execution of this contract. Should an emergency arise only the necessary basic lifesaving and life support measures will be provided.
