Q & A

Ref. 165-Q-08-002

Q1:

Line Item#1: Autodesk Maya 2008, 3D Animation Software Maya has many options: Maya Complete, Maya Unlimited, floating, nodelock, subscription, maintenance, USB dongle, etc.

May I know which software are you looking for among these?

A1: Autodesk Maya Complete 2008 Network or Floating License shall do.

Q2:

May we ask if the USAID Office issues a “Customs Waiver Letter” in order to clear the cargo from Skopje Airport Customs and without paying the customs duty of the shipment.

A2:

No such waiver is needed for you to have.

If awarded, you will use our Purchase order as an export document to deliver the goods up to Skopje airport. After, when the goods arrive to Skopje Airport, USAID will take over and custom-clear the items.

Q3:

Will substitutions be allowed or are you adamant as to a specific brand, for example instead of dell monitors can HP be submitted in its place?

A3:

In regards to the displays, the HP brand displays are acceptable, however they will be evaluated on quality of image basis against the specified Dell displays.

Q4:

My question was not so much the displays as they are more specific than the other items, I was asking over all. For example the servers, the "HP" may have one similar to the "Tyan", would it be safe to assume that the same goes for this product as well.

A4:

Yes
