REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) – SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER SERVICES

Federal Correctional Institution – Three Rivers, Texas

The Federal Correctional Institution, Three Rivers (FCI) is conducting market research pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Part 10 for an upcoming requirement for Satellite Television services. This RFI is not a pre-solicitation nor a solicitation announcement. The FCI is requesting information for upgrading existing satellite television services. The locality for services will be in Three Rivers, Texas. Attached is the statement of work (SOW) for further details pertaining to this requirement.

This RFI is a means to identifying interested Federal Supply Contractors who may be capable of providing Satellite Television Services. The result of this notice will assist in the determination of the appropriate procurement methods. However, a determination by the Government not to compete this anticipated procurement action based on the responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government.

The FCI is requesting capability information as market research to solicit the anticipated requirement. Interested firms shall include all pertinent information detailing their ability to comply with the abovementioned requirement.

Firms interested and capable of performing the services outlined above are encouraged to provide a response to the questionnaire. Up to three additional pages may be submitted identifying your capability in providing the Satellite Television Services.

1. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for Satellite Television Services is 516210, which sets the small business size standard at $47.0 million (below $40.7 million in gross revenues is considered small, above $40.7 million in gross revenues is considered large). All potential quoters are advised if a solicitation is issued it will include the clause at FAR 52.212-4 (Feb 2007) for Commercial Items, paragraph (t) System for Award Management (SAM). This clause requires all contractors doing business with the Federal Government after September 30, 2003, to be registered in the SAM database. If your company is not registered in SAM, registration can be completed at https: www.sam@bop.gov .
