Text version

1. Question - Are we alone or will we be with an employee while providing service?

Answer - You will always be escorted by a staff member while on site.

2. Question - What are the depths of the lift station pits?

Answer - All the lift station pits are twenty (20) feet deep.

3. Question - How many emergency calls have we had to make in the last year?

Answer - We've only had to make one (1) in the last year.

4. Question - How many gallons are pumped?

Answer - We don't know how many gallons are pumped each time. The current provided leaves once the truck is full. Again, you will be removing the solids.

5. Question - What about all the liquid that gets pumped up?

Answer - The liquid can be dumped back into the pit.

6. Question - Is water available or do we need to come full?

Answer - There is a hydrant on site that you can connect to. It is a direct connect and it is not metered.

7. Question - How many people can be badged during the Contractor's Initial Training Class?

Answer - In short, however many people you will need to fulfill the contract. We recommend a back-up for each person in case the main person can't make it. The example discussed on-site was; if you have two (2) people in mind, then send four (4) to the class.

8. Question - How long is the Contractor's Initial Training Class?

Answer - Four (4) hours and it's good for one (1) year. At the end of that year, they will need to take a two (2) hour refresher class. They expire in September and renew prior to October.

9. Question - Can the class be scheduled on the same day as the first service visit?

Answer - No. Our Human Resource Department schedules and provides the classes. They determine the dates.
