FCI McDowell Food Service

Delivery Schedule

This schedule is in effect for all subsistence items to be delivered for the 2nd quarter of FY 24, on or before January 19, 2024. Unless other delivery schedules have been arranged. Deliveries can be made M-F between 7:30a.m. - 2:30p.m, no Federal Holidays or weekends first come first served. You may contact the Food Service Warehouse Supervisor, Mr. Greer, at {304) 436-7300, ext. 7635 or Jermaine Jackson, FSA, at ext. 7390, for driving directions.

See listed delivery requirements. All deliveries must be palletized.

All non-frozen, perishable foods must be delivered between 34 degrees F to 40 degrees F.

All frozen foods must be delivered at 0 degrees or below. Any product that indicates prior thawing will be refused.

Vendors who fail to meet delivery schedules are subject to be removed from future solicitations for bid.

All Certified Religious Diet items must be marked accordingly or they will be refused.

Items must meet specifications as indicated. All items will be closely inspected. Items may require thawing and cooking to determine specification compliance. Receipt of delivery may be conditional for a period of six (6) business days to allow for adequate examination and testing. Items that fail to meet specifications will be refused. Items which are conditionally received and found to be unacceptable must be picked up at the vendor’s expense within two (2) weeks of notification of noncompliance. If product is not picked up in two (2) weeks, it will be properly disposed.
