SCOPE OF WORK
REVISED
1. Background The Bureau of Reclamation, Grand Coulee Power Office has a need to procure Virtual SAN (Storage Area Network) Licenses for its VSAN-RN-650 servers to provide hassle-free, reliable attached network data storage to support its virtualized server environment. Additionally, the annual fee covers ongoing maintenance and support and is licensed for one asset per processor.
2. Objectives The Army Corps of Engineers has identified the vSAN server as the best fit for the Grand Coulee Industrial Control System which meets the specifications and capabilities of the Generic Data Acquisition Control System (GDACS) and it is the only approved compatible product.
The purchase of the license grants rights for Reclamation to use the vSAN functionality on their severs. The software is a reoccurring cost that renews on specific dates each year.
