About this file
This document outlines requirements for a project to purchase and install emergency backup generators and transfer switches at four National Park Service locations within Yosemite National Park. The project involves installing a 30kW liquid-cooled standby generator with an automatic transfer switch at the El Portal Community Hall. Additionally, 25kW liquid-cooled standby generators with automatic transfer switches will be installed at the El Portal Child Care Center, Yosemite Valley Child Care Center, and Wawona Community Center. Detailed specifications are provided for the generators and transfer switches to be utilized. The contractor will be responsible for installation activities including concrete slabs or pads, trenching, fuel lines, electrical work, and removal of any existing manual transfer switches. National Park Service oversight is required at some locations. This appears to be the scope of work for Solicitation Number 140P8523Q0045 issued by the Department of the Interior National Park Service.
