Questions and Answers #1 LAKE Callville Bay Purchase & Install Generators
Q1. Is the propane tank intended to be above or below ground?
A1. The propane tanks shall be above ground.
Per the SOW section #3. “Propane Tanks: Contractor shall provide installed (2) propane tanks minimum of 250 gallons per tank. These tanks shall be horizontal tanks- Not free standing and will need to be secured to the pad.”
Q2. Do you require the generator to be mounted on a concrete pad? The manufacturer guidelines show a concrete pad is not required.
A2. Yes, NPS is requiring a pad.
Per the SOW section #6. “Cement Pads: Contractor shall provide and installed composite cement pads for the generators and propane tanks to be installed on. The tanks and generators shall be probably secure to each of the cement pads.”
Q3. Will two 125gal tanks per house be permitted or are you looking for one 250 gallon tank per house?
A3. NPS is looking for (1) 250-gallon tank per house.
