About this file
This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for fire extinguisher maintenance services at Theodore Roosevelt National Park, covering approximately 202 fire extinguishers located in the North Unit (Watford City, ND) and South Unit (Medora, ND). The SOW requires annual inspections, maintenance, and potential hydrostatic testing of ABC fire extinguishers ranging from 2.5 to 20 pounds, with specific requirements including visual inspections, checking pressure levels, testing, recharging, and ensuring compliance with OSHA, NFPA 10, and local fire safety codes.
The performance period will start upon contract award with 4 optional extension periods, and the government reserves the right to service up to 260 extinguishers throughout the contract. Pricing will be based on different service types: annual inspections, 6-year maintenance, emergency services, and hydrostatic testing, with specific quantities outlined for each extinguisher size and inspection type. The contractor must provide detailed documentation, maintenance logs, compliance certifications, and perform all work using certified technicians while minimizing disruptions to park operations.
