CACO Catch Basin Inspection and Cleaning

RFQ, 140P4323Q0098

Amendment 0002

RFI #3

Question 3: Is there always hazardous material in the catch basins or is it on and off when it comes to hazardous materials in the catch basin?

Government response: It’s not typical to have hazardous material in a catch basin. However, a vehicle can leak oil or hydraulic fluid and not report the spill. This would then end up in the catch basin. The hazardous material in the catch basin(s) mentioned in the WPS refer to this and similar situation that could be encountered.
