About this file

This document contains questions and answers regarding a solicitation for HVAC services at covered buildings within the National Park Service Northeast Region. The solicitation seeks a contractor to provide preventative maintenance, repairs, and replacement parts for HVAC equipment located primarily in basements and attics across various historic sites. Drawings of the buildings will only show floor plans and not detailed HVAC system information. The contractor will have an employee escort within historic spaces. Ladders are generally not required but are available on site if equipment is located over 10 feet high. Small replacement parts and lubricants for preventative maintenance will be covered, while repairs and additional services will be included in a not to exceed line item.
