3- We see that you are asking for a Bryant 13

SEER unit, are you looking for a better option like a Bosch inverter with heat pumps 18 SEER, which is easier to get?

This unit was listed to illustrate that these are the minimum specifications that are acceptable.

A unit that exceeds this examples performance and/or resistance to the environmental conditions would be acceptable.

4- Can you please provide some pictures on the existing unit and ductwork?

See Photo

5- Can you please provide how much ductwork will need to be replaced?

The scope does not call for full ductwork replacement. The only ductwork required will be to adapt exiting ductwork to the replacement units.

Questions asked at the pre-bid walk through meeting on 11/16/2020:

1- How are the refrigerant lines run from the exterior of the building to the attic?

Answer: The lines are run through a chase way and through a interior closet then into the attic.

2- Will there be a work platform installed in the attic space?

Answer: The NPS will not install a work platform but the contractor may do this if needed to complete the work.

3- Would the Park consider the option of running the refrigerant lines and thermostat wires on the outside of the building through a decorative PVC line cover to access the attic. This would reduce the amount of refrigerant line needed and improve compressor performance and reduce deterioration.

Answer: I will need approval from the CO for this option. This would be acceptable to the NPS.

4- What is the insulation R-values for the ceiling, walls, and floor of the building.

Answer: R-19 exterior walls and R-30 ceiling, construction drawings attached.
