REGGAR Current Tables
ACTIVITIES (currently 235,516 records) – This table auto populates with the use of the bar code scanner
- ACTIVITY_CD (coordinates with the bar code scanner to determine which module it is in and which fields to update)
- ACC (Accession/HFC Registration number)
- ITEM (item number within an accession/HFC Registration number)
- TOLOC (to location, I believe)
- LOCATION (permanent or previous location)
- PARK_ACRY (4-letter park Acronym, added when the object is scanned as part of the “Ship” module on the bar code scanner)
- BOX NUMBER (Box number assigned when object is scanned as part of the “Ship” module on the bar code scanner)
- DATE_SHPD (date an object is listed as shipped as part of the “Ship” module on the scanner)
- TREATED (manually selected as part of the “Move” module on the bar code scanner)
- EMPLOYEE (Name of employee who is currently “signed in” to the bar code scanner. This is achieved by scanning a bar code for the employee’s name)
- ACTIVITY_DATE (date the activity was run)
- ACTIVITY_TIME (time the activity was run)
Box Table (currently 127 records) – I am unclear how this table is intended to be used.
- BOX NUMBER (likely assigned while using the “Ship” module on the bar code scanner
- ACC (Accession/HFC registration number)
- ITEM (Item number within an accession/HFC Registration number
- PARK_ACRY (4-letter park Acronym)
Contractor Source (currently 69 records) – This table is used to contain information related to non-park entities that receive objects for contract work.
- Contractor Number (Number assigned to each contractor to enter into the bar code scanner, linking an object record to a contractor record)
- Company Name (Name of company or individual contractor)
- Contact (Name of company contact)
- Phone (Contact phone number)
- Address 1 (First line of contractor address)
- Address 2 (Second line of contractor address – optional)
- City (City of contractor address)
- State (State of contractor address)
- Zip (Zip code of contractor address)
Exhibit Table (currently 15 records) – Used to record exhibit names, but does not appear to have been routinely used.
- Park: (4-letter park acronym)
- Exhibit Name (name of exhibit for which an object is designated)
- Contact (contact name for the exhibit)
- Phone (contact phone number for person in charge of exhibit)
- Completion (presumably the date the exhibit was or was intended to be finished)
- CONS_COORDINATOR (name of conservator who is overseeing the MCS portion of the exhibit project
LastInventory (Currently 36 records) – Used to track inventory of objects at Willow Springs facility, but it is unclear at this time how, exactly, it works.
- ACTIVITY_CD (Activity as triggered on the bar code scanner module. In this case, it is “I” for inventory)
- ACC (Accession/HFC registration number)
- ITEM (Item number within an accession/HFC Registration number)
- LOCATION (Object’s current location)
- EMPLOYEE (Name of employee who is currently “signed in” to the bar code scanner. This is achieved by scanning a bar code for the employee’s name)
- ACTIVITY_DATE (Date the activity was run)
- ACTIVITY_TIME (Time the activity was run)
- ACCITEM (Numerical string of the Accession number and item number together)
- ACCITEMLOC (Alpha-numerical string of the Accession number, item number, and location together)
PARK SOURCE (Currently 248 records) – Table used to track all parks who have had objects come through MCS. Records are added whenever a new to MCS park is worked with.
- ACRY (4-letter park acronym)
- NAME (Name of the park)
- ADD10 (First line of address of the park)
- ADD20 (Second line of address of the park)
- CITY10 (City of the park)
- STATE (State of the park)
- ZIP (Zip code of the park)
REGGAR (Currently 93,684 records) – Main table for recording object information, location, and everything else.
- Reg. No. (Accession/HFC Registration number. Generated in REGGARAdd function)
- Item (Item number within an accession/HFC Registration number. Generated in REGGARAdd function)
- Received (date object was received at Willow Springs facility. Generated in REGGARAdd function)
- Present (Determines if object is present at Willow Springs or not. Generated in REGGARAdd function)
- Description (Brief description of the object, currently limited to 100 characters. Generated in
REGGARAdd function)
- Park (4-letter park acronym of the park that owns the object. Generated in REGGARAdd function)
- Catalog (Park’s catalog number. Currently defaults to 8 digits with leading zeroes as necessary.

- Part (If an object is a part of a catalog number, A, B, etc. is assigned here. Generated in
REGGARAdd function)
- Other Number (any other number associated with an object. Generated in REGGARAdd function)
- Location (Object’s location, assigned when “Store” function is used on bar code scanner)
- TEMP_LOCATION (Object’s temporary location, assigned when the “Move” function is used on the bar code scanner)
- Contact (Contact name for the park – currently does not auto-populate from PARK SOURCE table)
- Phone (contact phone number for the park contact – currently does not auto-populate from
PARK SOURCE table)
- Shipped to Park (Triggered by using the “Ship” function on the bar code scanner. Defaults to
“No”)
- Date (Date shipped to park. Triggered by using the “Ship” function on the bar code scanner)
- Contractor (Name of contractor, if an object is sent to one. Triggered from the “Ship” function on the barcode scanner).
- Contractor Number (Number associated with a contractor in the “Contractor Source” table).
- Date (Date sent to a contractor)
- Returned (Date returned from a contractor)
- Purpose (Purpose for which an object has come to Willow Springs facility. Currently selected from a drop-down list. Generated in REGGARAdd function)
- Exhibit Name (exhibit name, if there is one – does not seem to be tied to “Exhibit Table” table.

- Number (Exhibit number, if there is one – does not seem to be tied to “Exhibit Table” table.

- Delivered By (Name of company/person/etc. who delivered the object. Generated in

- Source Number (Number assigned to a source in the “SOURCE” table)
- Region (NPS Region. Mostly in the old format, but some are in the new DOI unified regions)
- Account (account assigned to a project, if there is one. Generated in REGGARAdd function. Not really used currently)
- PO Number (accounting codes assigned to a project, if there is one. Generated in REGGARAdd function. Not really used, currently)
- FPO Number (accounting codes assigned to a project, if there is one. Generated in REGGARAdd function. Not really used, currently)
- DI-1 (unclear what this is. Likely something to do with accounting)
- VISA (selected if an object is purchased using a credit card. Generated in REGGARAdd function.)
- CASH (Selected if an object is purchased using cash. Generated in REGGARAdd function.)
- Cost (Price that was paid for an object, if purchased. Generated in REGGARAdd function.)
- Mount (Selected to note if an object requires a mount. Generated in REGGARAdd function.)
- Condition (Condition of the object. Generated in REGGARAdd function.)
- ASSOCIATED PAPER (Unclear what this field was intended for)
- TREATED (Shows if an object has been treated. Defaults to “No,” but is triggered to change to
“Yes” in the “Move” function of the bar code scanner)
ShippingActivity (Currently empty) – Unclear what this table was intended for
SOURCE (Currently 2208 records) – Contains the names and information of all non-park sources of objects. This includes both individuals and businesses.
- SOURCE# (Number assigned to each source as it is created)
- NAME (Name of individual or business)
- ADD1 (Source street address)
- ADD2 (second line of address)
- CITY (Source city)
- STATE (Source State)
- ZIP (Source zip code)
- ACRY (Acronym, but not used)
Study Collection (currently empty) – should contain all the records of the study collection, which are currently located in the REGGAR table.
