Grand Teton National Park
Specifications / Statement of Work
20 ton tilt deck pintle hitch trailer w/ air brakes
1. Contract Type o Purchase 20 ton tilt deck pintle hitch trailer w/ air brakes.
2. Trailer Specifications o 20ton rated pintle hitch o Deck over configuration o All necessary DOT lights/markings & safety chains o Air brakes o Hydraulic cushion cylinders o Minimum 24ft long full load deck; may be partial tilt/ split deck with a minimum 20ft tilting deck.
▪ Examples:
▪ Split/partial tilt deck
▪ Continuous deck o Minimum 102 inches wide o Minimum 2 axles o Unloaded platform height shall not exceed 40 inches o Shall have minimum 8 “D rings” for securing loads o Shall have Rub rails or stake pockets for securing loads o Tool box o All necessary manuals for operations and parts will be included o Wood or composite decking and loading tread surfaces, metal shall only be allowed over trailer wheels.
