140P1421Q0094 – Amendment 2 Questions and Answers 1-can we use CCA dipped treated posts in lieu of pressure treated?

A: YES. Preference would be CCA dipped treated posts green in lieu of pressure treated.

2-can we camp on site during work?

A: No. However, there may be sites available at Gros Ventre Campground or Colter Bay administrative campsites - both part of the NPS housing areas. Availability would depend on when work would commence and would be subject to the appropriate fees per night (approximately $14/night), and appropriate closing dates. To note, there are Forest Service dispersed campsites available along the Spread Creek Road, not far from the work site - subject to availability.

3-what would a bad snow winter look like for startup and completion prior to June 1 2022?

A: this would be considered an act of God, if access and work couldn't be properly completed prior to June 1 2022, and an appropriate time commensurate with days of work lost would be granted, beyond the bad weather conditions.

4-will the on-site porta potty remain for use?

A: YES. The porta potty will remain until the end of the season (approximately mid November) this year, and will be returned to the site prior to commencement of work in the spring, if needed - and would be available for use by the contractor.
