Project Number: BRCA 219555

Park Name and Address:

Bryce Canyon National Park 3000 S. Highway 63, Bldg. 1 Bryce, UT 84764

PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: From Date of Award to finish no later than 60 days after date of award.

1.1 LOCATION AND FACILITIES

The Visitor Center and the Fee Booths are connected at the basement level in the visitor center via a chase way. The distance from the farthest Fee Booth to the Visitor Center is approximately 190 feet.

There are 3 Fee Booths with 3 adjacent license plate reader camera sights. The Visitor Center is a 31,642 square foot building with camera locations on the outside (6) and on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors (16). This project will include a site assessment to recommend camera placement based on the park needs for surveillance to replace, relocate, or add as necessary existing cameras and replace network cabling.

1.2 SCOPE – STATEMENT OF WORK

1.2.1 GENERAL

This performance-based statement of work issued by the National Park Service is for:

• Replacing network cabling with new CAT-6e

• Provide and install 24 new Milestone compatible, NDAA Compliant, non-banned IP Cameras. Park has 4 Newly purchased cameras that may be utilized in this project.

• For consideration in bid, contractor will be responsible to obtain all XProtect Corporate Device Licenses from a “Milestone Gold Partner or Higher with current MCIT and MCDE certifications” (see section 1.5 for known points of contact).

• All contractor-provided equipment must be new, unopened, unused, and never purchased by another entity.

1.2.2 DETAIL

Camera Requirements

1. All cameras must be IP network connected and use TCP/IP communications to pass traffic to the recording appliance.

Commented [FL(1]: I pulled this from the nps/brca website, obviously it's not an exact address.

Commented [FL(2]: Describe the locations with distances between facilites. 300 feet is not a show stopper for connecting the two buildings. As long as your park doesn't have any restrictions for digging for historical preservation or can provide monitoring when digging is required, let the contractor recommend the course of action.
