140M0123Q0022 Amendment 0001- Vendor Questions and Answers
Will content provide by IHS Markit now S&P Global be made public?
o If so would the publications be our IP or works produced by the end user
• BOEM will not make any publications or reports available for the public. Content would not be made public except in instances where specific analysis is cited in a public document, such as the National OCS Program.
• In public documents, analysis by BOEM using S&P Global’s data would be cited as “Source: S&P Global adapted by BOEM”, or something along those lines.
There is reference to US Data – but most of the references are for offshore – would you want to proposal to include all onshore and offshore US?
• BOEM is only requesting offshore data in this RFQ. If an offeror is willing to provide U.S.
onshore data as part of its quote, BOEM will consider the value of the additional data in its evaluation.
Will my specialists have the opportunity to present or demonstrate product functionality to your end users?
• BOEM is not intending to consider bidder presentations as part of our evaluation of proposals. While ease of operation and functionality are important, BOEM’s greatest interest is in updated project information and accurate data.
