Text version
140L6221R0045 Fence Removal Amendment 0001
1. A portion of the job includes removing A-Frame river crossings. These structures are encased in concrete. Does the concrete need to be removed or can the steel be torched flush with the concrete? If the cement does need to be removed do the holes need to be back filled? If so, is the BLM providing dirt or does dirt need to be hauled from off-site?
The steel can be cut to be flush at ground level (or preferably 3-4 inches below ground level). A small amount of local dirt can then be used to cover up anything that's visible. No need to haul in new dirt.
