1. In the solicitation it states that the contractor is to Supply all materials, in another section it states the government will supply 4 miles of barbed/smooth wire. who is responsible for supplying materials?

The Cody Field Office (CYFO) will supply the 4 miles of smooth wire and barbed wire.

2. It also states that the contractor is to replace missing wood/steel posts, who supplies those materials and is there an estimate of how many posts and h brace posts would need replaced?

There is approximately 100 post that MAY need to be replaced. There are 2 H-Braces that would need to be replaced. The Cody Field Office will supply the post and materials for the H-Braces.

3. Is the project area clearly and unmistakably flagged or marked in order for contractors to go see it in person prior to bidding? If so, is it marked with flagging or tape, etc.?

The project area is extremely easy to find with the attached map of the project area. A GIS Shapefile or KML can be supplied upon request.

4. In one part of the solicitation it states the project is started fall of 2021 and finished fall of 2022, the period of performance states you have 120 days to complete it, meaning the contract would be ended near the first of the year, which timeline is accurate?

The work once started will need to be completed 120 days after the Notice to Proceed (NTP) is issued. If after the NTP is issued and there is a weather delay (i.e snowstorm making the area inaccessible), then a Stop Work Notice will be issued until the area is once again accessible. The NTP will need to be reissued, for the remaining days left from when the initial NTP and stop work was issued.

The project will be completed in coordination with the grazing permittee. Grazing within the allotment is usually April 1st to July 1st. The contractor will not be able to work during April 1st to July 1st due to cattle grazing within the allotment.

Wood Post can be driven.

6. Who supplies the mechanical gate closure hardware, staples, wire clips?
