Question and Answers (Q&A)
Question 1- In the section below there is mention of a different Wage Scale. Does the need to be deleted? It can be found on page 31.
GS1440 Wage Determination Applicable (Jul 2001) In the performance of this contract, the contractor shall comply with the requirements of U.S. Department of Labor Wage Determination Number SD190028 dated 01/04/2019. The wage determination is incorporated into this contract as Attachment D.
The wage determination has been corrected in the solicitation.
Question 2- According to Virginia DPOR, any work performed on Government buildings that are leased, not owned by the Federal Government, must have a Virginia licensed contractor perform the work. There are also requirements for the class of contractor that can perform the work based on dollar amount. This job is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. this would require a class B Virginia contractor’s license. Since GSA rents the building that is leased by USGS do we need submit a copy of a contractor license?
Yes, please submit a copy of a contractor license.
Question 3 - Which bonds are required for this effort, If any, and at what price range or percentage?
No bonds are required.
