Questions Concerning the

Laundry and Linen Service

Solicitation Number: 140D8120Q0006

1. Section B1.2.6, Page: 9

Question: Are the coveralls short sleeve, long sleeve, or a mix of both?

Answer: The coveralls provided by the vendor need to be long sleeve. The words, “long sleeve” have been added to section B1.2.6.

2. Section B1.2.6, Page: 9

Question: Are the coveralls fire retardant? If they are, they will need to be laundered.

Answer: The coveralls provided by the vendor do not need to be fire retardant. However, per section B1.2 of the solicitation, “This is a non-personal services contract established for the purpose of acquiring commercial services to provide a supply of clean and sanitary shop towels, mop heads, and coveralls”.

All items supplied will need to be clean and sanitary.

3. Section A1, Page: 6

Question: How does invoicing work? Would we bill per item that we receive each week? Or bill the full 150 towels, 11 coveralls and 1 mophead each week?

Answer: Per Section B1.2.2, 150 shop towels need to be dropped off every week, so 150 shop towels will need to be invoiced for every week. The same goes for section B1.2.3 regarding 1 mop head per week. Sections B1.2.4, and B1.2.5 state that only used coveralls need to be replaced each week, so only the used coveralls will be invoiced for.
