Q# Question Government Response 1 How old is the facility? The facility was built in 2003.

2 How stable is the power? The power is consistent, with outages occuring twice a year, on average.

3 Is the ceiling a dropped ceiling? Yes, it is a dropped ceiling.

4 How high is the ceiling? The ceiling is 9' high.

5 What type of walls are in the perimeter areas? The walls are drywall with metal studs.

6 What type of walls is inside the offices? The walls are drywall with metal studs.

Do we need to drill between the walls, to run our cable infrastructure? There should be no need to drill between walls, as cable should be able to be dropped. As stated in SOW, all existing wire, power supplies and electronic door locking devices will be utilized on the new system.

8 Do we need to use conduit? If yes, what do you estimate the total conduit footage will be? There is no need to use conduit, as there are hangers.

9 Are the door frames metal and concrete filled? The door frames are metal. There is no concrete.

10 What is the lowest temperature and highest temperature during winter and summer? Lowest - 65 degrees farenheit Highest - 78 degrees farenheit

12 Can you provide the name of the existing access control system? AMAG Access Control System

Are we to assume based on the SOW that there is a need for access control server, if yes can you tell us if there is a preference with a brand for the server? Yes, Hirsch Velocity or an equal system.

Based on attachment 3, we assume that the existing readers are installed as detailed in the drawing, is that correct? Yes, the readers are installed as depicted in Attachment 3.

Based on attachment 2, we assume that we can use the existing Electromechanical Door Hardware, is that correct?

Yes, as stated in SOW, all existing wire, power supplies and electronic door locking devices will be utilized on the new system.

16 Is this new contract requiring to upgrade the Door Hardware power? This procurement does not require an upgrade to the door hardware power.

Based on attachment 2, we assume that we can use the Amag wiring infrastructure, is that correct? Yes, the AMAG wiring infrastructure may be used.

18 What type of locksets is there in your doors? Magnetic locks & electric mortise locks

Related to FICAM Policy, does your agency need to authenticate the CAK besides the CHUID or FASCN from the PIV or CAC Card?

Related to FICAM Policy, the fact the authentication of the PIV or CAC card can present major delay upon presenting the card to the readers, especially in areas such as the main entrances; what is the maximum allowable time expected to authenticate both CAK and CHUID? Is it 3 seconds or less?

Yes, it is 3 seconds or less.

Related to FICAM Policy, does the contractor have to be certified as a HSPD-12 by GSA approved vendor?

No, the contractor will be escorted by OST personnel when in facility.

Related to FICAM Policy, does the contractor have to provide certified Security ICAM Engineers as recommended by GSA?

The order that results from this solicitaiton is not expected to be fulfilled through a GSA schedule. The required certification for this requirement is with the proposed equipment manufacturer. See Statement of Work.

Related to FICAM Policy, does the PACS system should be in full FIPS 201-2 compliance?

Yes
