The purpose of this contract is to procure professional staffing services from a staffing firm (Contractor) to provide qualified contract teaching and school staff at Havasupai Indian
School while the BIE continues its efforts to permanently hire employees into the positions.
This will immediately address staffing shortages;
and will lend to greater consistency and continuity of classroom and school operations at
HES.
b. How many hours per week/days per month are the providers required to be on-site?
The contracted personnel will be required to provide on-site services at the Havasupai Indian
School in Supai, Arizona once a week for 8 hours per day for a total of 30 weeks during the 23-24
SY. This will require the individuals to travel to Supai, AZ once per week each week of the month
(4-5 times a month).
c. In reference to transportation and housing, please provide more details about if there is a hotel and how the provider is to commute to location.
The contractor will be responsible for transportation once a week in their privately owned vehicle to and from the location of the
BIE¿s contracted helicopter carrier, which will be in either Peach Springs, AZ, Hilltop AZ, or
Grand Canyon AZ. The contractor will be required to fly in and out of Supai, Arizona on the BIE's contracted carrier once a week, for a total of 30 weeks during the 23-24 SY. There is hotel in
Supai, AZ which is operated by the Havasupai
Tribe.
d. Please confirm that resume and credentials are to be submitted after the contract is Awarded.
