Questions and NIST’s response.

I see that you have specified “Active Isolation Legs” to support the table-top’ I believe that the reason that you have put forth this specification is because this is the term that REDACTED uses to describe their Passive Auto-Leveling Pneumatic Isolation Legs.

Active isolation legs are generally based upon a piezo-electric construction that utilize an expensive and sophisticated closed-loop controller that senses disturbances on the floor and automatically commands the legs to counteract these disturbances by adjusting the piezoelectric elements within the leg structure.

As such, I will assume that you will require passive, auto-leveling pneumatic legs unless you tell me otherwise. We do not require piezo-electric control of the legs. The “passive, auto-leveling pneumatic legs” description/function is sufficient.

1. What is the distance (Highlighted in RED line) from the entrance to the BLDG217 to the lab where the table will be set up? Approximately 1000 ft

1. What is the room # where the table will be set up? 221/A48
