About this file
This document is an Amendment 0002 to a Request for Quote (RFQ) for Bulk Helium Supply & Services, Solicitation Number 1333ND24QNB610174. The amendment provides responses to six questions submitted by potential offerors. The key details include:
The RFQ is for the Department of Commerce's National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) to procure bulk helium supply and fill services. The NIST has a bank of 6 helium storage tubes with a total water volume of 372.75 cubic feet. The tubes have a maximum allowable working pressure (MAWP) of 2400 psig and must be filled to 2200 psig. The contractor does not need to provide a hose as one is already attached to the fill connection. The minimum operating pressure is 150 psig, and the NIST's helium storage tanks are ASME-certified. All other terms and conditions of the RFQ remain unchanged.
