AMENDMENT 0001

RFQ Number: 1333ND21QNB610461 Title: Bi-Polar Power Supply for CANDOR Spectrometer

A. Questions and Responses

1. Question: Our system will require three (3) modules in parallel. It will work as one complete system as requested. Is this acceptable?

Response: More than 2 unit of some kind is acceptable. An offeror can propose more than one.

2. Question: Our instrument meets the 50V for the applications. Our modules will not go above 60V. Is this margin needed for operation is 60V modules acceptable?

Response: Plus and minus 50V is acceptable as a voltage swing; plus and minus 60V is acceptable, for the magnet we intend to use at CANDOR.

B. Statement of Work Revisions: Revised Statement of Work is posted to this solicitation.

1. In the Background section of the Statement of Work, the first sentence of the last paragraph has been revised to “ CANDOR therefore requires a bipolar current/voltage source which can provide a total of at least ±60V and ±70A to the electromagnet used for polarized neutron reflectometry measurements.

2. Specification 1.a has been revised to ±60V

C. Response Due Date Extension

1. The response due date is hereby extended from 08/17/21 to 08/20/21.

All other terms and conditions remain unchanged and in full force and effect.
